Subject: Rosemary>Dew
Honestly, I don't think 90% of the crowd even knew Rosemary. Meanwhile, I was freaking out and trying to keep quiet at the same time... such a lovely song. I once said Rosemary was the one song I would absolutely never ever hear live. I was happily wrong.

First Furthur show and lawd was I transported back a few decades. Got a good whiff of that sticky sweet somethin that only rises when the music gets hot. My wife says its just BO. Crowds were polite, which is saying something for Philly.

Subject: Amazing second set
from Cryptical onward..smokin' second set. Especially fond of this version of speedway boogie..insane version. a sweet Rosemary..takes a little while for people to recognize it. I just saw the band on 3/25 and 3/28 at radio city, which were also hot shows (and 3/26 RIP Owsley show) Bands really raised the bar from first time I saw them about a year ago. Download this definitely!

Subject: Anybody got 3/19?
Hi I know this probably isn't the right place to ask but I was wondering if anyone had 3/19? If so, please upload it soon! The set list from Saturday night looked flawless - every single song a new peak- and I'm dying to hear it. Thanks in advance....

Great show 3/18- combined my cell phone video clips of the encore with this better audio file to create a live video of Breakdown Palace- check it out on YouTube under search for "Furthur PhantomEngineer Tower"

Subject: Doing the Dew...for you-and you-and YOU!
Holy cow - I was feeling strongly that this might be one of the best second sets of the tour - and then the Dew began. Slow, systemic chills began... then the Dew grew...and I was transported to another time and space, where JK may have stole my face.

Cryptical is interlaced ph so nicely, the Eyes bounces and pops with the feel of spring...Other One-China-Rider-Playin to close the set - WOW! Brokedown encore... oh my oh my!

First set wasn't great, wasn't bad, in my opinion. I'm not sure Bobby is the best lead for some of the songs - even the ones he used to sing. Might be hard to swallow...

Subject: Rosemary...?!?
I'm not 100% sure, but it seems that this is one the SECOND time "Rosemary" has ever been performed live! Wow....

Subject: Wow
This has to be the best I've ever heard Furthur play as a band also the best show I've ever seen them play. I honestly don't think I've ever seen JK play that well in Furthur or DSO before, absolutely phenominal guitar work. The first set is pretty much an entirely different show (Bobfest) but the Phil show is awsome..... and JK was melting peoples faces..... must have been the love in the air ;)

these transitions are too smooth! as for who sings what, one thing furthur has done is taken the GD tradition and molded it to the now. love how they split lyrics up to include all. this whole show is a treat, but that Rosemary>Dew, well no need to try to describe. keep at good folk!

Subject: 2nd set
I agree that the second set smokes. Epic Dew. In reference to the comments about JK's originality, the way I hear it is that this band is carrying on the tradition of the GD and JK plays it his way---the shamanic summoning of whatever that stuff is. JK has blown me away several times over the past year: Mohegan Sun, Vibes, MSG---I could name several other blistering shows over the fall tour alone. And his leads on the new songs are great too--even check out the last version of Seven Hills on the 13th in NY (sadly, not yet on the Llama yet--what gives?). If you've not had the time, check out the second set of the first night at the Orpheum (although they are all great shows), that's the real McCoy by any standard, as is this set. I'm riding this bus to the last stop. And thank you so much tapers for giving us access who couldn't make it to every show.

Subject: Thanks for the terrific recording
Wow! Been looking for Beat it on down the line, Wang Dang and Don't Ease me in and here they are!

How about that High Time. These boys and girl and getting better and better. While of course the Grateful Dead tradition lives on, they are carving out their own sound.

Moving furthur each day!

Subject: 2nd Set Says It All
That second set is why I go to these shows. Morning Dew was transcendental. (If they would let John do all of the Jerry songs they would have more moments like this one) First set was kind of tedious until Cold Rain and Snow. That's the reason for four stars rather than five.

VERY nice! Better than the commercial release IMHO. Tower Theater is a great venue and this recording shows it plainly!
Everything a taper should get! Clean, great set-list great audience spirit and the band was on.
I love hearing a ladies touch and the vocals are together nicely.
Drums are good and Phil is right on the money.
Second night on after a couple days off for the band.
GREAT follow up to the 3-17 show!

The crowd is singing along to Eyes and my friend and I are amazed! The jam out of Eyes mellows a bit, but Other One has JK electricity, Phil bombing, Russo is making the floorboards shake. . . download this now!

Another great Furthur show here. Especially the second set and a very smokin' Stranger opener. I agree with the earlier comment that the second set does kinda speak to what is going on with the world. Phil sounds especially amazing on this recording. Thanks for posting so fast Craig! Download this show now the boys are on fire!

Cryptical Envelopment>New Speedway Boogie>A Hard Rain's Gonna Fall>Rosemary>Morning Dew>Cryptical Envelopment. I've noticed more than ever that Furthur plays songs that portray a theme of what's going on in the world of current events. This band has a lot to say through the music they play. Love the sound/feel here! Thank You Craig!!
Hope you can post more, more, more so I can smile, smile, smile...

Some recordings give you feel of being connected right into the soundboard and some give you the feeling of being part of the crowd. This recording has good quality but it's gem is the feeling of being part of the crowd. The Morning Dew put a smile on my face that will last all day. Thank you Craig for the fast turnaround on this recording. You have great skills and a kind heart for thinking of us. Hope you post the rest of the run just as fast.
